We give you a tagged link

Each partner gets their own short URL — e.g. guardrailcompliance.com.au/r/yourname. Drop it in client emails, your website, an LMS module, a member newsletter, or a 1:1 conversation. Attribution is automatic.

Your customer signs up

They get the free tier — one NDIS Core Module scan per 12 months, the full template library, AI System Inventory, and audit-pack PDF export. Zero credit card. They never need to mention you — the link does it.

Attribution lands automatically

The tagged link writes a 90-day cookie. If they sign up immediately, you're credited. If they bookmark the page, come back next week, and then sign up — you're still credited.

They upgrade, you get paid

When the customer upgrades to Professional (A$149/mo or A$1,490/yr), you earn 10% of Year-1 MRR — about A$15/mo recurring, paid monthly for the first 12 months. No clawbacks for cancellations after the first 90 days.

How attribution works under the hood

Three sentences of plain English: when a customer lands on GuardRail via your tagged link, we drop a 90-day cookie identifying you as the referring partner. When they sign up — immediately, the same day, or any time in the next 90 days — the cookie writes your partner code into their account metadata. When they upgrade to Professional later (could be Day 3, could be Day 60, could be Day 300), the attribution survives all the way through to Stripe and into the commission ledger.

What this means in practice: you can't accidentally lose a referral by sending the link in one email and the upgrade nudge in another, three weeks later. The cookie does the bookkeeping.

Frequently asked

Why 10%? Other SaaS programs offer 20-30%.

Honest answer: we'd rather pay 10% sustainably over the customer's Year-1 lifetime than 30% upfront and have to discount the product to make the unit economics work. The Year-1 economics are what fund Year-2+ retention investment. Custom structures (higher one-time, lower recurring) are available for partners who'd prefer that shape — just ask.

What does my customer actually get from the free tier?

One NDIS Core Module scan per 12 months covering all 14 outcomes and 24 indicators. The full policy template library (downloadable PDFs, no signup required). Will GuardRail try to sell my customer something I don't offer?

We sell GuardRail Professional and Enterprise. We do not sell consulting hours, audit-prep services, or anything else that competes with the consultancies, accountants, or plan managers we partner with. If your customer asks us 'who should we get for X?' we send them back to you.

How do you handle data?

Customer data stays in Australia. Documents are stored in Supabase Sydney. AI processing (Google Gemini) happens in transit only — no training on customer data, no third-party retention. Sub-processors are listed in our privacy policy. We follow the Privacy Act and align with the Voluntary AI Safety Standard's 10 Guardrails.

What if I have a few high-value NDIS providers I want to introduce personally?

Email us at hello@offtheground.agency with the name and we'll schedule a warm intro with whoever owns the account at GuardRail. The referral attribution still applies even when the conversation starts in person — your tagged link can be sent in the follow-up email and the cookie attaches at signup.

Can my consultancy white-label GuardRail's scan output?

Yes — the Enterprise tier supports white-labelled PDF exports and multi-tenant workspace switching. Pricing is per-consultant seat. Contact us to scope.

What if I want exclusivity in my region or vertical?

We're not currently offering geographic or vertical exclusivity at the 10% tier — too early in the program to lock out other channels. If you'd like to discuss an exclusive arrangement at a different commission shape, the conversation is open. Email us.

How do I get paid?

Monthly EFT to an Australian bank account. We'll send you a referral agreement to sign on first commission earned, then invoices/remittance every month. Foreign-bank arrangements available for international partners via Wise or equivalent — we'll absorb the FX cost for the first A$5k of commission per partner.
